Today is the 30th Anniversary of Spider-Man: The Animated Series which premiered on 19th Nov 1994 as a special sneak peek preview on Fox (the rest of the series began airing from Feb 1995, supposedly the sneak peek was prompted by Avi Arad to help promote the Spider-Man TAS toyline ahead of Christmas)
The series introduces us to Spider-Man (played by Christopher Daniel Barnes) facing off against the Lizard (Joseph Campanella) along with supporting characters Aunt May (Linda Gary), J. Jonah Jameson (Ed Asner), Joseph Robertson (Rodney Saulsberry), and Eddie Brock (Hank Azaria)
Along with the awesome theme song performed by Joe Perry of Aerosmith

Anyone else a fan of this series? To me it was my introduction to Spider-Man and Marvel in general (along with X-Men TAS and the other Marvel Action hour shows) and I really hope we get a continuation like X-Men '97
